Milan has 2 international airports: Linate (LIN) and Malpensa (MXP). Availability depends on the country you're travelling from, but both are valid options who have transport into the city.

Like in most cities, not all taxi's have the option to pay with card, so don't forget to take some cash!

Linate airport (LIN)

Linate (LIN) is the closest airport to city, located just 11km away from Milan center. Although this airport does not have a direct train line to the city, efficient public transport links such as the fast ATM bus, takes 25 minutes for passenger transfer to central Milan. The quickest and by far the most convenient Linate airport transfer option is to take a taxi. Without traffic, it takes about 20 minutes, but keep in mind that you have to cross the city! It will cost around 40€, depending on the time, based on a taximeter.

Malpensa airport (MXP)

At Malpensa (MXP) airport, taxis are located in front of the exits to the arrivals halls in both Terminals 1 and 2. Please be aware that the journey time to central Milan is about an hour. Please keep in mind that the taxi fee from Malpensa airport is quite high, about 100€, so it's probably a good idea to share a taxi. Or another option to get to the city center and to Mico Conference center is by public transport. A good well functioning Metro system can get you to the city center of Milan and around. Might be interesting to know that the the metro station Portello on Line M5 is situated right in-front of the Mico Conference center.

This year we haven't made any reservations with hotels around the Mico Conference Center - please make you own reservations.

We advise you to book one of these hotels, close to the convention center:

  1. Melia Milano
  2. Hotel Portello
  3. Hotel Nasco
  4. Enterprise Hotel
  5. UNAHOTELS Scandinavia Milano
  6. iH Hotels Milano Regency
  7. Hotel Mozart
