We are happy and exited to announce that Directions EMEA 2022 will be organised in from 9 - 11 November in Hamburg, Germany.

We are super exited and hope to see you all again in Hamburg!
Even more because it's going to be a magical edition, our 15th edition.
And we are keen to make it our best. So far. ;-) 

 

Planning

Directions EMEA 2022 will be organised from 9 - 11 November, 2022.
Please don't forget to block our Welcome Reception on Tuesday 8 November, the perfect occasion to say hi to your old friends or meet some new!

Registration

Make sure you collect your conference badge at the entrance hall (ground floor) on:

  • Tuesday 8 November from 18:00 - 20:00, during welcome reception
  • Wednesday 9 November from 7:30 - 9:00, before the Keynote on day 1

Flights - International airport

Hamburg or HAM. Roughly 60 different airlines link Hamburg directly with about 130 national and international destinations. The commuter train system ("S” train system) will take you to the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg quickly in an eco-friendly way. The commuter train departs directly from the airport and takes half an hour to arrive at the CCH. You may also take a taxi or use MOIA, the new ridesharing service for Hamburg. The trip by car takes only 20 minutes in normal traffic. 

Hotel - Accommodation

Great news! In Hamburg, all hotel accommodation will be organised again by a central booking engine, where you can book your hotel close to the convention center.

FAQ

Can I bring more furniture or roll ups to our booth?

  • We do not reccommend it. We try to unify the space and give the same conditions to each exhibitor (of the same level of sponsorships). If you bring anything, please remember – you can’t exceed the given space and you can’t interfere in other’s sponsor view.

Can I bring own food to our booth?

  • If it’s only „cookies“ for you and your colleagues from the same company, then no problem. But if you're considering to do popcorn or an ice-cream cornet at your booth for all the attendees, then please don’t. CCH Conference Center has strict rules regarding food in the building and this is not allowed.

Can you share a list of attendees with me?

  • Because of GDPR and privacy regulations, we are not able to share any details regarding our attendees. Not even with our sponsors, sorry! Please be aware that if companies are reaching out to you to sell our list of attendees, this is a hoax because they do NOT HAVE access to our data. But we are more than happy to share an overview of our amazing sponsors and partners, have a look at our sponsor page

What can we place in the ISV Kiosk?

  • It’s up to you to decide whether you prefer a flyer, brochure or small gift with your company logo. Please just keep in mind that the size should be no bigger than A4. If you prefer to send this material in advance, please check the pdf called Deliverables we've sent to our sponsors.

When can we come to set up our booth?

  • We encourage you to attend Sponsor‘s meeting at the Congress Centre in Hamburg and we look forward to meeting you at the Entrance Hall on Tuesday 8th November at 4:45 PM. You will be introduced to our Team members who are there to help you for the duration of the event with basic information and booth handover.  
    Between 17:00-20:00 you will be able to decorate and personalise your booth to make sure you are ready for kick-off on Wednesday morning. Please be aware that only 2 persons per company are permitted entry to your booth between these times as the Expo area will remain closed for Tuesday evening.

If I'm not able to attend, can I transfer my attendee pass to someone else?

  • Yes, this is possible, attendee pass is transferable.

 

What is the language of the conference?

  • English is the official language. All sessions (except for Country sessions) are in English.

 

When vegetarian, glutten or lactose free, will there be an option for us to eat?

  • There is always a vegetarian option in our menu. If you have any specific needs such as gluten or lactose free, please let us know in advance.

 

Can you share a list of attendees with me?

  • Sorry, but we don’t share any details regarding our attendees. But we are more than happy to share our amazing sponsors and partners, their list is available here – link to website.

 

How is the Conference App called and when will be released?

  • The app is called Directions Events and will be released soon. 

 

When should I register?

  • We highly recommend to do this asap, but at the latest on November 1st. 
  • Please register yourself and everyone from your company to avoid queuing on site.
  • Make sure you provide the correct information. During registration there are fields called „Display flieds“, those will be printed on your badge.

 

When and where can I pick up my badge?

  • You can pick your badge on Tuesday between 6 – 8 PM during Welcome reception which will take palce in the Entrance Hall and we highly recommend that to avoid queuing on Wednesday morning.

And of course, you can come on Wednesday at the registration in the Entrance hall between 7:30 – 9:00 am before Keynote 1. To make this as fast as possible, please prepare your ID card and choose the correct line (badges will be in alphabetical order).

 

Is there any accommodation provider we might use?

  • Yes, we cooperate with optiMICE (Hotel for Events), their booking agent is available via this link.
  • The closest hotel to CCH Conference Center is Radisson Blu. But you can of course use any other platforms such as booking.com etc. We don’t have any special contracts concerning hotel accomodation.

 

Why do we have to pay VAT?

  • We can not invoice you without VAT - According to EU law we have to charge German VAT since the “service” is delivered in Germany – but you can reclaim it against our German VAT number on the Invoice.
