Bio: After 29 years at The Kansai Electric Power Company (KEPCO), one of the leading energy companies in Japan, Hiroaki joined Pacific Business Consulting in 2021 and was appointed CEO in 2022. At KEPCO, he took part in numerous major projects, helming KEPCO mission-critical systems, ERP systems and consolidated accounting systems from the conceptual stages through to cutover. He was also involved in the development of a transmission and distribution data linkage system between regional electric power companies, and a customer information system for power producers and suppliers (PPS) in response to the deregulation of the electric power industry. The author of 'System development to accommodate expansion of electricity deregulation (Electrical Review)', among other contributions.
