The Service Module in Business Central - the hidden gem

Date: 27-04-2023 | From: 12:30 to 13:15 | Room: Sky

One of the more overlooked modules of Business Central is the Service module. Personally, I have steered clear of implementing it for many years. That is until, one day, I was forced by a customer to help implement the service module with them, and I discovered that the service module can actually cover most of the tasks needed to offer service to the customers. This session will demystify the Service Module in Business Central:
Setting up the Service Module:
- Creating Service Items
- Standard Service Codes
- Service Processes
- Fault Reporting
- Service Offerings
- Troubleshooting
- Pricing
- Service item components
- Work Hours and Service hours
- Loaner Program
- Service Contracts
Daily operations:
- Service Contracts
- Service Orders
- Resource Allocations
- Invoicing
